About Drunk Dog Jams

Our History

Drunk Dog Jams was created by Bridget A in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It all started when Bridget was craving a baked brie cheese covered in raspberry chipotle jam but couldn’t find that particular flavour anywhere, so she created her own recipe. This was quickly followed by the Mango Bourbon jam which won 1st Prize in the Novice Jam category at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2019. Surprisingly, a jar from the same exact batch got nothing at the Ballarat Show a few months later. Hmmm. But anyways…

She discovered she had a flair for creating interesting and sophisticated flavour combinations. Originally intended only as gifts for friends and colleagues, the popularity of her cheeky flavours grew until she was talked into selling them at the market. As a result, Drunk Dog Jams can now be found at the Ballarat Farmers Market on the 2nd Saturday of the Month.

That said, they are still homemade in Bridget’s kitchen…. one dozen jars at a time.

You can find us at the Ballarat Farmers Market on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9am – 1pm at Lake Wendouree, Victoria.
